From Fortville to the Fast Lane.

I’m Cal Peter, a 17-year-old racer from Fortville, Indiana, on a mission to climb the motorsport ladder and make my mark on the world stage.

In just over two years, I’ve gone from first laps in karting to competing at the top levels and testing cars ahead of my USF2000 debut in 2026 with Jay Howard Driver Development. My journey is fueled by grit, discipline, and determination – proving that with the right mindset, progress can be fast and fearless.

For me, racing is more than speed. It’s about resilience, constant learning, and living out values like accountability, commitment, and respect. Off track, I’m a competitive lacrosse player, outdoors enthusiast, and someone who believes in staying grounded while aiming high.

This is just the beginning – join me on the journey.

USF2000 Championship

In 2026, I’ll hit the grid in the USF2000 Championship with Jay Howard Driver Development, racing the Tatuus JR-23 powered by Elite Engines. This is the first step on my path up the USF Pro Championships ladder – honing racecraft, physical performance, and technical expertise to climb through USF Pro 2000, Indy NXT, and ultimately the NTT IndyCar Series.

I’m ready to chase podiums, push limits, and create value for partners while gaining the experience and results needed to move up the ranks – one race at a time.
